Video chat for Japan: 1:1 calls with live subtitles

A video chat you open in the browser

Bizu runs in Safari on iPhone and in Chrome on Android or a computer. You choose one ID-verified host, read the coin price on her profile and talk only with her. There is no public livestream and no audience, and this path does not need a store app.

This page is the English guide. For Japanese, start at the Japanese home, then open 英会話のビデオ通話, 翻訳つきビデオチャット, Chamet代替 and LivU代替. See also 友達づくりのビデオチャット.

Euros at checkout, not a yen quote

Coin packs start at €5, the cheapest pack in the current app settings. That is not a yen price and not the amount your bank must show. The card charge is in euros. Each host sets 180–300 coins per started minute after the video connects, and you see that rate before you call. There is no subscription. A 1:1 message has no per-message price, but sending one needs a coin balance above zero. A booked call has its own total on the booking screen.

Live subtitles are text, and not Japanese audio

Captions are text, not a new voice, and they need the browser to recognise speech. Arabic and English are the supported caption languages. A Japanese interface does not make the caption line Japanese. Captions can lag. They are not professional interpreting, a lesson or a certificate. Read the profile languages. A country does not tell you the language, and a listed language does not make the host a teacher.

On an iPhone or Android

On iPhone, open Bizu in Safari. Add to Home Screen is a site shortcut, not an App Store install. Allow the camera and the microphone, and tap the sound control if you hear nothing. On Android, use Chrome with the same permissions. Keep the tab in front. A loaded page is not a connected call. Try a short call before a large pack. This page does not promise that every network in Japan connects, and it is not a claim of local approval. Japan Standard Time is UTC+9 all year. For a call now, see who is free in the app. Checkout stays in euros.

What the call is

Hosts are 18 or over and finish an identity check, a document and a selfie, before they take calls. That check does not mean the same host is free tonight. You can block and report. Keep phone numbers, email and payment requests out of the chat, and pay in the coin shop. Nudity is not allowed. Optional Match is a 5-second preview. The profile stays the main path.

Longer English pages

The English pages are English conversation practice, video chat with live translation, Chamet alternative and LivU alternative. They keep hreflang with the Japanese URLs. Readers in the United Kingdom can use Video chat app UK. German readers can start at the German hub.
