Safe 1-on-1 Video Chat with ID-Verified Hosts

A safer video chat starts with a named host, a visible coin price and tools you can use during the call. Bizu is paid 1-on-1 social video with hosts who passed an identity check. This page explains what that check covers and what it does not.

What a conversation costs
ServiceCost in coins
Live video, per started minute180–300
Booked call, base price per 30 minutes12000

The host’s profile shows the price before you call. Bookings have their own total and require purchased coins; check the booking screen before confirming.

What identity verification confirms

Before a host can take calls, Bizu reviews an identity document and a selfie. The age requirement is 18+. Hosts whose check is still pending may appear in the list, but they stay offline and cannot take calls. The host sets a price between 180 and 300 coins per started minute after video connects, shown on her profile before you call.

The check confirms that a document and a selfie were reviewed before calls are accepted. It does not make the host a teacher, it does not publish a criminal-record certificate, and it does not guarantee the tone of a conversation or that the person will be available when you return. Profile photos are moderated too, and moderation still does not make every sentence in a call guaranteed.

What verification does not confirm

A verification label does not mean Bizu is the safest app, and it does not mean every other person on the internet was checked the same way. Clients confirm their age at sign-up. If you need an emergency service, a certified interpreter or a structured lesson, this page is not that service.

A booked call has its own total, shown before you confirm. Eligible technical failures within 20 seconds of the first charge receive an automatic coin refund, up to 3 times per client per day. Normal hangups and calls with gifts are excluded. Bookings have separate terms. Messages are not charged in coins. Sending a message needs a coin balance above zero.

A watermark with your own name

During the call a watermark shows the viewer’s own name. The point is to discourage unwanted recording, because the name sits on the picture. The watermark cannot stop the other person from photographing the screen with a second phone, and it cannot delete a picture taken outside the app. Share only what you accept another person might see.

The name on the watermark is the name on the account, not your phone number and not your email. If that name is something you do not want repeated, choose a public name before the call. Keep documents, cards and your address out of the camera background.

Phones, emails and links are hidden in chat

Chat hides phone numbers, email addresses and links. That reduces requests to move off the platform. It does not make every attempt impossible if someone speaks a number out loud. Keep payment inside the coin shop. Asking for a transfer outside the app breaks the rules.

The host sees your public name, country and language, not your email and not your network address. Do not send pictures of your card or your identity document in chat. A picture in chat is a message like text, and it does not cost coins.

Seven signs of a video-call scam

Block and report

You can block and report at any time during the call or after it. A report may include an image from the call so the team can review the case. A block stops that conversation from continuing. Do not wait until you have sent money outside the app and then try to repair it.

If the call drops for a technical reason at the start of billing, read the refund condition above. Ending a call because you no longer want to talk is not a technical failure. Gifts follow separate rules and are outside the early-drop refund.

Conversation rules

18+. Nudity and sexual content are forbidden. Keep conversations respectful and follow the community guidelines.

Who it is for / not for

For people 18+ who want a private social video call and want to know which safety tools are real. Not for anyone who wants payment outside the app, a public room, or a promise that no one can ever record a screen.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a minute cost?

Hosts set prices from 180 to 300 coins per started minute after video connects. Check the profile before calling; bookings have a separate total.

How does translation work?

Translation appears as text chat and live captions, not dubbed audio. Arabic and English are supported. Captions depend on browser speech recognition and permissions; errors, delays or unavailability are possible.

How are hosts verified?

Hosts must be 18+ and complete document-based identity verification before receiving calls. This is not a teaching qualification or a guarantee of behaviour.

What about privacy and watermarks?

A watermark with the viewer’s name appears during calls. You can block and report; a report may include an image from the call. A watermark cannot prevent the other person from taking screenshots.

Does Bizu work in iPhone Safari?

Open Bizu in compatible Safari without an App Store installation and allow camera and microphone access. Caption support and connectivity depend on the device, browser and network.

Are coins refunded if the call drops?

Eligible technical failures within 20 seconds of the first charge receive an automatic coin refund, up to 3 times per client per day. Normal hangups and calls with gifts are excluded. Bookings have separate terms.

What does verification not prove?

It does not prove conversational style, availability, or that Bizu is the safest app. It proves a document and a selfie were reviewed before calls are accepted.

Which scam signs matter most?

Payment outside the app, a request for a contact method, links, urgency, a code sent to your phone, a rate that contradicts the profile, and pressure to hide the watermark.

Check the profile, then call

Open a host profile, read the coin price, and use the in-app tools if something feels wrong.
